

I will absolutely post another review after the floors are installed and we've moved in and lived in them for a couple of months (next summer). All in all, I've been looking at floors for so long and the peace of mind this man gave me in 1 hour is worth my business. He is even willing to work something out so I can lock in the quote they provide me when I make my decision, since he knows it might be a couple of months down the road. I won't even look at the other company because I know he can match any price I can get there. Needless to say, I will absolutely by my flooring from it feels one hundred percent right. He assured me we would find something in my price point. He didn't cut me off, once he realized the sale was not right around the corner, he kept helping me think through wood flooring that would work and we revised my earlier sample order. I told Alan I just closed on my loan for a custom new construction and the order might be a couple of months away but, I'm type A personality and I have to lock the budget down and this is my last task. So, I am looking for this type of deal because I know it's how I'll save money and still get quality and I need a lot of flooring for a new construction. So if you go into Macy's or any of those stores, you'll get some of the best deals on the private brands. I'm not put off by brands I've never heard of because I've worked in a corporate retail environment and understand that all the big box stores have their on labels from merchandising to home improvement stores, they all come from some of the same companies they just smack their label on it. I don't know how this man makes any money because he spent 1 ENTIRE hour on the phone with me answering my multiple questions, sharing information with me on how the business works, what type of floors I should be looking for as well as discussing their private brand labels. To say he has an awesome personality would be an understatement. I placed my order but wasn't sure it went through I called back about 1 1/2 hours before closing and got the owner, Alan. Today, is the day after Thanksgiving, and I called this morning with a few questions on receiving samples. At the end of the day, I want the benefit of working with a company that works directly with manufacturers so I don't have to the pay the markup of a distribution chain BUT, I want the feel of a small time company that I know will take care of me if there are issues with the product. I have read reviews of those companies that caused me real pause.
